As Principal Dentist and Practice Owner, Laura joined the family practice over 18 years ago, having qualified from Guy's Kings and St Thomas' Dental School, London.
"I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially building relationships with all of our patients. I look forward to continuing to provide the highest standard of care for our patients in the years to come. I believe that every patient is an individual and my aim is to ensure that going to the dentist is as pleasant as possible with every patient leaves smiling with confidence and chewing without pain."
In addition to providing general dentistry, Laura is also Treasurer of the NHS Local Dental Committee and is a member of the British Dental Association. She holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Prosthodontics and a Royal College of Surgeon accredited Post-Graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry (Level 7). Laura has recently undertaken a Fellowship at Bespoke Smiles for advanced veneer techniques.

After qualifying in 2012 at the University of London, Mr Patel worked in Oxfordshire before joining the Ampthill Dental Practice in 2018. He splits his time between Ampthill and London Bridge as well as providing the NHS 111 Out of Hours service across Hertfordshire.
"I am able to offer orthodontic treatments including Inman aligners, clear aligners and Invisalign Go. As well as this, I have a keen interest in Endodontics and have completed a postgraduate certificate in this field enabling him to diagnose and carry out root canal treatment more effectively."
Outside of the workplace, he enjoys travelling and have carried out dental aid work and mentoring in Nepal, Zimbabwe and Panama. Most recently, he volunteered with a medical NGO called Floating Doctors, and was one of the Dental Leads in the Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
"Aside from teeth, I love all things sport, and enjoy bouldering and running (when my knee behaves itself!)."

Mr Patel graduated from Kings College London in 2009. He completed his year as a vocational trainee in Andover before a year as SHO in maxillofacial training at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth.
Since then, he has worked in General Practice in London providing a plethora of advanced dental treatments. In 2011, he was elected to the Royal College of Surgeons after completing the MJDF RCS ( England) examinations. He enjoys oral surgery with a focus on Niobel Biocare implant placement and provides adult cosmetic orthodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Dhivesh is a sports fanatic, enjoying both playing and watching all sports.

Miss Doherty graduated from University of Bristol in 2017. After completing her foundation training in Milton Keynes, she joined the family practice in 2018. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, particularly building relationships with her patients so that they have the most enjoyable experience possible at the dentist. She has a special interest in supporting nervous patients to ensure as stress-free experience as possible.
Outside of dentistry, Niamh is a keen tennis player and you will often find her in the kitchen baking yummy treats for her friends and family.

Lorna qualified as dental hygienist from Edinburgh Dental Hospital ahead of moving to Bedfordshire in 1988. Lorna enjoys caring for her new and existing patients and strives to assist them in improving their dental health.
Outside of work, Lorna has a busy family life with her twin girls. When she has spare time, she enjoys spending it with friends, going out for dinner and the occasional pilates class.

KAYLEIGH qualified as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist IN 2016, graduating from the University of Birmingham. She has worked at Ampthill Dental Practice for over 4 years, using her extensive experience working in both NHS and private dental practices. "I am passionate about helping patients with their oral hygiene routine and improving their oral health. I believe education and prevention are key to maintaining the life of your teeth I enjoy spending time with family and also travelling - who doesn't love a holiday! I am also a big sport fan especially football."
